Studio Policy
By making a booking with Vocal Evolution, you hereby agree to the following:
1. Rescheduling, Cancellation and No-Shows
By default, lessons not cancelled or rescheduled a minimum of 24 hours before the start time will be charged at full rate. Same goes for no-shows.
If a prepaid lesson is “early” cancelled before the 24-hour cancellation deadline:
Lesson credits may be used for a future booking (as long as it is used up before its expiry date)
This is subject to the instructors’ availability - in other words, in the worst case scenario that they are fully-booked, there will be no obligations to fulfill it.
If the instructor needs to reschedule the lesson, it will be rescheduled, but never refunded.
Instructors will spend the unfulfilled lesson time to work on something for you at their discretion, e.g. a recorded set of customised vocalises, deeper analysis of your repertoire, creating an activity for you.

For students on a private lesson subscription package, we allow for max. 1 reschedule per month due to illness or other exegencies, to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. In the case that a reschedule within the month is not possible, our instructors will spend the unfulfilled lesson time to work on something for you (as mentioned above). There are no refunds of lesson payments.
2. Lesson Payment and Booking
All lessons need to be booked via the scheduling platform and paid for in advance to be confirmed.
Package subscriptions renew automatically at the end each month, and you will be auto-billed for the next month’s lessons according to the dates below.
Lesson slots are available for booking starting from the respective assigned dates. Bookings made before the respective dates will be considered void.
Students on the Singers’ Circle (Pro) membership - 25th of the month
Students on the Singers’ Circle (Standard) membership - 26th of the month
Students on private lessons without a Singers’ Circle membership - 27th of the month
Students who require an additional invoice (e.g. for employer reimbursement purposes) are required to notify the studio in advance of payment. An administrative charge of $16 applies to each monthly invoice.

All lessons with Kenogi are self-booked, on a first-come-first-served basis.
3. Unused Lesson Credits
Unused private lesson credits will rollover, and can be claimed as long as your private lesson package is active (i.e. not cancelled)
Make-up lessons: have to be booked as soon as possible upon cancellation to avoid cases of unavailability
In case of unavailability: Our coaches will use the time of the previously booked lesson to work on something for you (e.g. a recorded set of customised vocalises, personalised song analysis, creating an activity for you).

As subscription packages are discounted, we are not able to give refunds or continuously extend packages free-of-charge.
The goal of subscription packages is to save you the trouble of having to manually make payment for your lessons every month.
If you are not fond of that idea, you may purchase our one-off packages that do not renew, or purchase lessons ad-hoc.
Credits that have expired for more than six months cannot be renewed or reinstated under any circumstances.
For credits that are still within the six-month expiry window, renewal may be considered under the following terms:1. $450 and below
a. Pay a package-restart admin fee of $25 to extend your package validity by 1 month; or
b. Restart your subscription, and your credits will automatically become usable again
2. Above $450, below $900
a. Pay a package-restart admin fee of $50 to extend your package validity by 1 month; or
b. Restart your subscription, and your credits will automatically become usable again
3. Above $900
a. We will refund you everything in excess of $900 minus the payment processing fee (~5%), and the options in Category 2 above will apply
4. Refunds
There will be no refunds made for all purchases of private lessons, group lessons and gift certificates.. All sales are final.
5. Content Creation and Publishing
We may publish content (photos, audio, and videos) taken during lessons online (e.g. social media platforms) occasionally, so if you're shy or concerned about privacy, request to opt-out.
If you do not request to opt-out at the start of the studio-client relationship, we will assume that you are fine with your photos and videos being used.
6. Tardiness
If you arrive late, your lesson will still end at the scheduled time by default. This loss of time will not be made up at another time.
However, if you arrive on time but the previous lesson runs late, you will be given your full-allotted time.
7. Holiday Lessons Are Not Automatically Cancelled
Prior notice will be given when we are closed due to a holiday or special event. Otherwise, please assume that lessons are scheduled as usual.
If you wish to move or cancel your lesson due to a holiday, please see the rescheduling and cancellation policy above.
9. Enrollment Criteria
We reserve the right to not accept any client/student bookings at our personal discretion and are not obliged to provide reasons for exercising that right.
10. Privacy Policy

Vocal Evolution, with its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as “VE”, “we”, “our” or “us”), are committed to the protection of your privacy and personal data. For the purpose of this privacy policy (“Policy”), a reference to the “Platform” is to https://www.vocalevolution.studio/ and all web pages thereunder, including the information, images, links, sounds, graphics, video and other materials displayed therein and the functionalities or services provided therein. The Platform shall include (a) both the web and mobile versions of the Platform and (b) any mobile applications made available from time to time by us, including the iOS and Android versions.
This privacy policy governs our provision of services (“Services”) to you (including but not limited to conducting classes, workshops, activities, talks, seminars and/or sessions), and information and functions made available by us on the Platform. This Policy applies to individuals who are customers of VE and users of the Platform (“you”, or “your”).
1. Personal Data We Collect
Personal data that we collect may include:
your basic personal details, including first and last name, and your contact information, including your address, phone number, email, or other information that permits us to contact you;
your account information, such as details of the payment card used to complete a transaction and your transaction details, such as the amounts paid and the details of the products and/or Services purchased;
photographic, audio and/or videographic recordings which feature you, taken by us in connection with the Services rendered to you; and
other relevant information in order for us to extend to you the use of VE’s products and Services.
2. Purposes for the Collection, Use and Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Your personal data (such as information you provide to us when you apply to be a member or registered customers or in relation to the provision of any services including Services from us to you) may be collected, used and disclosed by VE for the following purposes:
providing you with our products and Services and managing our customer relationship with you (including but not limited to scheduling of sessions, accounting, billing, verification of your identity, providing functionalities or information through the Platform (e.g. responding to queries), and facilitating the customer support);
sending you marketing, promotional materials, personalised content and/or relevant product information relating to products and Services of VE or the merchants or service providers on the Platform as well as news and updates about VE;
administering and communicating events and activities (e.g. extending and processing invitations, managing admissions; conducting visits);
complying with applicable laws, regulations and other requirements (e.g. providing assistance to law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities and other governmental agencies; performing internal audits);
for internal administrative and management purposes, marketing, creating content for VE’s corporate purposes, business improvement, and quality and training purposes; and
such other purposes as consented to by you.
In connection with the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for the above-mentioned purposes, we may disclose your personal data to a third party (for example to our vendors, service providers, agents, and our affiliates and/or subsidiaries).
We will not keep your personal data where there is no longer a legal or business purpose to do so.
3. Accessing and Updating Your Personal Data
If you would like to view and/or update the personal data we have on you, please contact us at team@vocalevolution.studio. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for retrieving your personal data records.
4. Changes to the Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time at our absolute discretion. Any changes to this Policy will be published on our website.
