Teaching Approach

Our approach draws upon the best teaching strategies and tools from our coaches’ past & ongoing training with international mentors and in various methodologies, such as:

Our goal is to help elevate you through our evidence-based approach, singers' community and network of international experts.

1. An assessment of which of the 3 areas of singing (vocal technique, musicianship, artistry) is holding you back the most, and which one of the 4 major vocal imbalances you have that needs to be addressed
2. A series of personalised technical exercises designed to address the root causes of your vocal struggles
3. An application of your levelled-up skills on the song of your choice (or one that’s more suitable for your current needs)
Through working with you, Kenogi will advise you on the best plan for your training - whether it may be private lessons with himself or one of our associate coaches, group lessons, or a mix of learning opportunities.
Ahead of your first lesson, please read this guide to ensure you come well-prepared.

Scheduling and Availability

As our main clientele are young adults (tertiary students and working professionals) with fluid schedules, private lessons are scheduled based on availability and on a first-come, first-served basis.

We do not offer fixed, regular slots.

Weekday afternoon slots are usually more abundant, as weekday nights (7pm onwards) and Saturdays tend to get booked up very quickly.

Priority booking is also given to a small number of students who are commited to holistic learning through a combination of private lessons, group coaching, and singing events.

Spots for this are limited, and more details can be shared after your first lesson if we think that it is a good fit for you.

For all other students, the studio calendar opens on the 27th (for private lesson package subscribers) or 28th (for adhoc students) for bookings the next month.

Hi! I’m Kenogi.

I am a vocal coach (certified MVT, IVA), and founder and lead coach of Vocal Evolution.

Together with my team, we help elevate singers through our evidence-based approach, singers' community and network of international experts.

Having personally struggled with my own voice for many years, I am deeply passionate about helping others realise their uncovered abilities through efficient and effective vocal training.
